I have tried everything I was taught
to do. Trying to fit in the world
by becoming someone who,
I am not. An everyman.

What’s going on? How tragic
is this shallow happiness
becoming emptiness, seeking
where is the enlightenment?

Punch me hard to bleed.
Hit me more. Be harsh to me
like a nihilist. Obliterate
my every apprehensions.

Pull me away from this reality,

Orion’s Belt

He is a hunter
who journeyed to cross,
armed with a sword
this celestial ocean of love.
In an odyssey orbiting space
spanning lightyears
deep into the galaxy.
He navigates
on the clear night sky
pulsating with hope.

A voyage only to find
his happiness. A tryst
with the meteor showers
and constellations.
One sad winter solstice,
as he tried opening
the heaven’s gates.
He eclipsed by the moon.

There was a time when I thought happiness
was infinite and the night full of stars.

30 Minutes

Somebody has told me how in his hospital bed, he is thinking of what will happen with the remaining minutes of his life.  His doctors had already given up hope and they already inform his wife that he got 30 minutes to live more.  Everyone in the room have already accepted the idea of death anytime [...]

Dream Believer

Ten years. This was how long, I have mended a broken heart. I have kept something deep inside me a special spot that no one could ever find. A spot that I have built for myself a castle of dreams of many “could have been”.
There are no words could ever describe a deep yearning. [...]

Happiness Is A Hammock Under A Shady Tree

Let me sail away
from this cares and doubts.
All I have
is my mind leaving
miles away, free…
When the hammock sways,
I remember images
unadulterated pure shores
silently rushing in on me.
And till I shut out
the windows of my tired mind,
I see the crystal light
fanning flames out of me.
I think of happy thoughts,
of ruffling leaves, dancing
in the distance.
Oh, that clearness
is [...]
