A box of reverie
I open today,
when hearing
a familiar old song.
An empty gaze
through the empty hall
brought back-
sunny days
and the carousel.
And all
the happy couples,
filling spaces
with their dreams
It used to be-
some balloons
float there
among the clouds.
See, even doves fly
with freedom on its wings.
Like changing of seasons
drifting away-
a gentle river
changing course.
I became-
a passersby
to the playground.
To the carousel.
On one bleak, cold
Sunday [...]

I was on my way to a restaurant that late afternoon to meet a friend, hurrying and my mind was filled with gloomy thoughts. My mind just wandered aimlessly, battling inner fears.
Rebel as I was, it seems that I am all wearied and fighting against the world, crushed in the agony of my self-defeat- I [...]

Let me beach to your powdery sand,
a beachcomber with seashells on his hand
delightful picking colored stones ashore.
On your rugged cliffs I climb and went,
lingering to witness your misty sunset
touched by the wind of this summer’s kiss.
The leaning tree, a coconut, subdued me,
as it veils its shadowy palms over me-
dancing divine light, streaming reverie.
Seawaves sailed glinting [...]

You chose not
to keep memories.
Not to keep promises.
But I chose-
to keep,
each single imagery,
each single scene
into a film.
Tell me a word.
And whisper niceties.
I consummate,
each single line,
each single thought.
You must know.
I had kept you.
Here
some faded photographs-
of us.
In the quiet corner
of my mind.
We dream.

Outstretched are
green mighty arms
of thorny crowns
prickly under the sun.
Lowly shrubs
worshipping the sand
winding tapestries
of the golden strands
It swirls. It whirls.
The desert breath
summoning the clouds
to quench its thirst.
Its parched hand.
Its speckled face,
lips of heaven planted
its misty kisses.
When the sun wearied,
will the cold rain
Preciously sparkles jewels
such in the night time.
Of the dewdrops
cusped into little ponds,
clustering brown cakes-
the food [...]

I am a bit choosy with the music I used to play in my playlist. Bluegrass and country genre is a daily staple of my waking music life. I have fallen in love with the soothing voice of Alison Krauss since day one, when I heard “Now That I Found You” and her own rendition [...]

That day,
you made the sky heavy-
falling tears like rain.
When a down-trodden
waded through a flood
of despair, and I am
walking away in shame-
as if the world
crumbled, suddenly
turned pale to gray.
My heart
I offered in a plate-
full of strawberries
its first fruits.
But your words-
that rejection
knifed and sliced
into bleeding pools.
Until I am strained.
That day,
my eyes were opened
of reality here-
I am standing
this gulf
between [...]
